“I’ve always been drawn to a boho and celestial vibe,” shares Emily, the bride. “There’s something about that balance of comfort and elegance that felt so right for our wedding day.”
She and Carsten knew they wanted a space that felt warm, inviting, and beautiful, and that bohemian style was the perfect way to bring that vision to life.
A Cohesive Look Through Colour and Customization
To reflect their personalities and relationship, Emily and Carsten leaned into two of their favourite colours: burnt orange and navy blue.
“We incorporated them into as many details as possible, from the flowers to the napkins to the glassware,” says Emily. “Being able to customize everything, down to the smallest details, really brought the whole look together in a cohesive way.”
Standout Features: The Aisle, the Dance Floor, the Couch
When it came to making the space truly their own, Emily didn’t hold back. A few of her favourite out-of-the-box details?
“The aisle, dance floor, and couch,” she says. “Using layered rugs created that cozy, boho feel I had always dreamed of, and having the freedom to design our own dance floor made the whole space feel ours.”
The freedom to personalize the layout and flow made the tent feel less like a venue and more like a home.
That “We Got That” Moment
“You always see those dreamy Pinterest wedding photos and think, ‘I want that,’” Emily says. “But getting our photos back and saying, ‘we got that’ was the most rewarding feeling.”
